According to INPIA, the seventeenth meeting of the Commercial Commission of the National Association of Polymer and Plastic Industries was held on June 26, 1997 at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce. In this meeting, which was chaired by Engineer Mehdi Pourghazi, first the current news in this field was discussed and then the memorandum of cooperation between the Iran Commodity Exchange Company and the National Association was discussed. At this meeting, it was decided that the Commercial Commission would nominate one of the members as the representative of the association to the stock exchange company. This memorandum is intended to develop cooperation and interaction between the association and the stock exchange, to balance related products. It was then approved that the National Association be removed from the competition ceiling in the stock exchanges through letters. Also put on the agenda the request to stop the export of petrochemical products, or to return the currency obtained from the export of petrochemical materials to the banks at the rate of 4200 Tomans. Also, make a plan to increase supply and eliminate false demand with the condition of number of staff, electricity consumption and added value, and prepare letters in this regard. In the end, it was decided to send a written letter to the competent authorities on a weekly basis regarding the shortage of material grades.
