On April 17th, members of the National Association of Polymer Industries of Iran were guests of the board of directors of this association to create a memorable evening together. This magnificent reception took place in the “Bam Mahatab” hall of the Eram Hotel, with the presence of esteemed guests such as the heads of chambers of commerce commissions and association presidents alongside government officials, to mark the beginning of realizing the slogan “Production Leap with Popular Participation.” The guests at this Nowruz banquet had come to revive their unity and solidarity pact and make a fresh start alongside all the existing economic hardships.

Some government officials expressed grievances while others highlighted the economic challenges, but all emphasized one thing: that despite all the difficulties, we have come here to have a fresh start. Among them, Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran, the Deputy Minister of Public Industries at the Ministry of Industry, was present and sincerely addressed the concerns of the producers. Farhad Tahmasbi, a representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, was also present at this ceremony, where private sector representatives discussed their concerns about weekend holidays with him. The campaign to change weekend holidays, which was adorned with the signatures of many attendees, was another memorable event of the evening, along with the Nowruz visit of the National Association of Polymer Industries of Iran

Mahmoud Najafi Arab, the head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, was also among the other guests at this ceremony, who sincerely attended alongside producers at this banquet. Seyed Javad Jahromi, the CEO of the Iran Commodity Exchange, was also present with his accompanying delegation at this event. During this banquet, a farewell ceremony was held for Ms. Farzaneh Alirezaei, the former secretary of the National Association of Polymer Industries of Iran, and Mr. Mohammad Hossein Babalou was officially appointed as the new secretary-general of the association. Ms. Farzaneh Alirezaei is expected to henceforth serve as a consultant to the board of directors alongside the association.

The final frame of this ceremony also featured a photo of the current board of directors alongside members of the board of directors of the association, accompanied by polymer industry entrepreneurs, to emphasize the unity and cooperation of producers in this industry more than ever. It is worth mentioning that close to six hundred associates of the association were present at this Nowruz banquet, which took place in the “Bam Mahatab” and “Firouzeh” halls at the grand Eram Hotel.
