Buik Agha Sahaf Amin regarding the events of the last two weeks in the field of raw materials, referring to the meeting held in the office of the Petrochemical Industry Employers’ Association, said: “There is a conflict between the stock exchange and petrochemical producers.” Petrochemical companies in cooperation with Nematzadeh made efforts to exit the petrochemical products market; But due to the greater power of the stock market, they failed to do so. Such cases eventually led to protests by associations, especially the National Association of Plastic Industries of Iran and the Association of Manufacturers of PVC Pipes and Fittings. Sahaf Amin continued: Due to the protests, these codes were blocked. Finally, we asked them to review the materials purchased under these codes and the product produced, which is being inspected. In this regard, the head of the trade commission of the National Association of Plastic Industries of Iran said: “The mentioned cases created fear among petrochemical companies and they accelerated their efforts to leave the stock market.” Sahaf Amin said: “In this regard, a meeting was held in the stock exchange in the past two months, in which stock exchange officials explained the benefits of the stock exchange and listened to our criticisms, to prepare the ground for concluding long-term contracts for large and reputable producers.” He added: “Finally, the Petrochemical Industry Employers’ Association, by inviting related associations, announced its readiness to enter into a regulated agreement for direct purchases from petrochemical companies, and stated that the purpose of this work was to help producers.” Sahaf Amin, referring to his words in this meeting, said: I mentioned that with the elimination of the stock exchange, what guarantee is there that things will proceed according to the rules. The other party also stated that the criteria will be developed and implemented for a certain period of time, and in case of dissatisfaction, it can be purchased from the stock exchange. I also offered to conclude a long-term contract through a livestock exchange.
