The 11th International Exhibition of Indian Plastics Industry (Plast India 2023), held in New Delhi – India from February 1 to 5, covering an area of 12 million square meters in 14 halls, was organized by Plast India Federation. 1519 companies from 35 countries were represented with pavilions at this exhibition.

In this prestigious international exhibition, the most advanced machinery of the production line of polymer, plastic, rubber industry, as well as the recycling industry, auxiliary machinery industries, molds, cooling systems, heating and control equipment, hydraulic-pneumatic, polymer, chemical and plastic raw materials , masterbatch additives, composites, fillers, reinforcement, packaging, storage silos and its equipment, coding and branding, trade promotion institutions and professional associations, research and development institutions, education and training, and… It was presented to the visitors.

At this exhibition, six Iranian companies, including Persian Gulf Holding, Jam Petrochem, Petroben, SPII, Sel Polymer and the National Association of Iranian Polymer Industry, had booths.

Negotiations were held with the official representative of the Plast India organizer in Iran several months before the start of the exhibition, and the association took steps to obtain a booth. The poster of the exhibition was announced on the channels of the association and on the website, and the poster was also presented at the stand of the association at the Iran Plast exhibition.

Simultaneously with the exhibition, the Plastics Export Promotion Council organized a program called RBSM under the auspices of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry, inviting manufacturers from around the world as trade delegations.

As in the previous period when this exhibition was held, the National Association provided its members with all the necessary information through the information channels, as it was in contact with the organizers of the mentioned program, and gave them the necessary support at all stages of filling out the registration forms and obtaining visas.

Among the Iranian companies represented in the business delegation and participating in the bilateral meetings were Kimiaran Company, Giti Sazan, Persian Gulf Holding Petrochemical Consultant, Granol Anisi, Modern Sanat, Avandplast Kerman, Teb Plastic Novin and the National Association of Polymer Industries of Iran.

One month before the beginning of the exhibition, the official members of the organization, especially the exporting members, were notified to receive brochures and catalogs of their products to be displayed at the booth. 

During the exhibition days, bilateral meetings were held in the designated Hall 7D in accordance with the RBSM program, and a table was also reserved for the National Polymer Industry Association. After the bilateral meetings started, the association was warmly welcomed and various manufacturers in the fields of compounds, masterbatch, additives, pigments, machinery for the polymer industry, refrigeration equipment, etc. negotiated with the representative of the association and requested to contact Iranian manufacturers to establish further business relations.

After the meeting, there was an interview with the representative of the Association for the Promotion of Export of Plastics from India and another interview with Plastic India TV, where the national association, members and the field of activity of the association were presented.

aanother interesting theme of the exhibition were the pavilions of various countries such as Germany, Qatar, Vietnam, etc., which participated in the exhibition. In line with environmental protection, many booths were also active in the field of recycling and biodegradable materials, which placed a great emphasis on these issues.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, a meeting and discussion was held with the Executive Secretary of the Indian Plastics Association to establish comprehensive relations between the two associations and introduce the processing industries of the two countries to each other.

  • Invitation to interested Indian companies to present themselves with a booth at Iran Plast 1402
  • Planning to conclude a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Plastics Association to establish comprehensive communication between the two associations
  • Classification of information received from manufacturers of compounds, masterbatch, machinery and other polymer sectors from Indian interfaces and information of these companies in an independent section on the Association’s website.
  • Invitation to the Board of Directors of the Plastics Association of India to speak at the 1402 Business Conference
