The seventeenth Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from September 17 to 20 with the aim of developing the entire value chain, supporting domestic production and promoting domestic manufacturing. The exhibition was held at the permanent site of Tehran International Exhibition Center.

In an unprecedented collaboration, IranePlast 17 allocated exhibition space to 560 domestic and 210 foreign companies in an area of 3,200 square meters, making it the most popular edition of this exhibition.

 

Various agreements and contracts were signed during the seventeenth Iran Plast Fair, which was organized by the representatives of the petrochemical industry in Iran. In addition, 20 technical meetings and training workshops were organized at the seventeenth Iran-Plast Fair. According to this report, more than 300 foreign guests, including officials, traders and investors, expressed their willingness to participate in the seventeenth Iran Plast Fair.

 

This exhibition can be considered one of the most successful in the history of IranPlast exhibitions. The participation of associations in the organization of the exhibition was particularly important, indicating the growing power of the private sector in Iran’s complementary industries.

The Iran National Polymer Association Booth was located in the Persian Gulf Hall and served as a meeting place for the presence and interaction of influential institutions in the polymer industry, including the Ministry of Industry, the Trade Development Organization, the Consumer and Producer Protection Organization, the Commodity Exchange and the Chamber of Commerce. During this period, more than 10 training courses were held on market analysis, export of recycled materials and innovation in the polymer industry.

This year, Iran National Polymer Association has established certain sections called “service desks” based on discussions with legal, governmental and superior institutions. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Chamber of Commerce, Trade Development Organization and some other organizations were responsible for dealing with the issues and problems of members and all stakeholders in the polymer industry. In addition, the board members of the national association, which includes more than 20 trade associations, actively participated.
