Following the coordination of the Technical Commission of the National Association of Polymer Industries in Iran, a group of activists and manufacturers in the polymer industry visited the Kermanshah Recycling Center and Organic Fertilizer Production Center today, on the first of November
This center, established by Ms. Heydeh Shirzadi, known as “Mother Earth,” receives approximately 600 to 700 tons of municipal waste from Kermanshah city, two neighboring cities, and waste from approximately 300 villages in the central district. Additionally, it also collects semi-domestic waste from all industrial towns and military barracks.
The incoming waste is fully separated, processed, and recycled in this facility. Organic waste is transformed into compost, while dry waste is separated into high-value and low-value components, which are then used as raw materials for recycling. The Fuel Derived Refuse (FDR) system, which produces fuel from waste, has been implemented for the first time in Iran at this center. Essentially, from zero to one hundred, all waste is managed in this facility
These visits continue in other regions of Iran by the National Association of Polymer Industries in Iran.
