According to Inpia quoting IRNA , at the Vietnam International Plastics, Packaging and Rubber Exhibition, dozens of manufacturing companies from 30 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, India, China, Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea have presented the latest equipment, machinery, technologies used in the plastics and rubber and raw materials industries in more than 300 booths.

The website of the newspaper ‘Vietnam Plus’ announced that a producer of polymer from the Islamic Republic of Iran is actively participating in this international exhibition.

Amirkabir Petrochemical Company from Iran has participated in the International Exhibition of Plastics, Packaging and Rubber in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and has held talks to present Iranian products.

Hu Duk Lam, president of the Vietnam Plastics Association, said the aim of the exhibition was to improve the country’s position in the plastics industry in the coming years.

Vietnam predicts that the country will see a 20 to 25 percent growth in the plastics and related industries in the coming years.

Vietnam believes that with the ratification of the Trans-Pacific Treaty and free trade agreements, the country’s food and plastics industry exports will grow, and in this context will need new machinery and technologies and raw materials for production.

On the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Plastics, Packaging and Rubber in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, international conferences were held yesterday with the participation of Iranian experts.
